Sharing Modded Game Profiles With Friends
Keeping several players on exactly the same mod setup can become difficult when everyone installs and updates packages independently.
Use One Tested Profile as the Reference
A better workflow is to build one working profile, test it, and then use that configuration as the reference for the rest of the group.
Export After Important Changes
A shared profile represents the setup at the time it was exported. If mods, dependencies, versions, or configuration values change later, the older export does not update automatically.
Create a fresh export after important changes instead of continuing to share an outdated setup.
Test Updates Separately
Keep a stable multiplayer profile and use another profile for testing major updates or new mods. This gives the group a known working configuration to return to if something breaks.
